Whipped semolina porridge with berries

It could be better if you would taste this dish before reading the recipe. But there is no such driver in computer yet.

So let’s imagine at first.
Almost dessert but could be a breakfast too. Refreshing. Vegan.
Not too sweet, soft and fluffy, a lot of berries (I personally prefer cowberry for its bitterness).

I tasted the whipped semoline porridge with berries just a little bit time ago and definitely it was a love at first sight.

Whipped semolina porridge with berries

not just for breakfast

Ingredients

1l water
130 g semolina
140 g sugar
a pinch of salt
200 g frozen cowberries or berry mix

Method

  1. Boil water with sugar and salt in a pan.

2. Add semolina and berries, cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

3. Cool completely and just after that whip well with a hand mixer or a stick blender. Serve with fresh berries and milk. Store in the refrigerator.
