I understand if you have never eaten fresh cauliflower. But I won’t understand if you won’t taste this cauliflower sauce.
It’s great with any type of vegetables, fresh, boiled and baked. This cauliflower sauce is perfect as is. I didn’t remember the situation when I should throw away the leftover sauce: leftovers simply do not exist
When I’m too lazy to mess around with the sauce, I remember the inscription on the pizza box that we sometimes order (when, again, it’s too lazy to cook something at home): sauce is king.
It’s true.
You can prepare also a common version with dairy yogurt.
Ingredients
500 g cauliflower
100 g plant yogurt
juice and zest of one lemon
black peppery
thyme
Instruction
- Purée half of the cauliflower, cut the rest into small pieces.
2. Add lemon zest and juice.
3. Pepper then add yogurt until the consistency of the sauce.
4. Serve with thyme sprigs.
